The membership processThere's a variety of memberships we offer, from student membership to retired assessors membership. To become an Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta (AMAA), you must first be a Candidate Member. Apply to be a Candidate Member Depending on the membership you are applying for, you will be prompted to provide specific information needed for us to review & process your application. We ask that you carefully read the questions before submitting, and to ensure the information included is accurate. |

1. Apply for the correct membershipPlease start by finding the membership you'd like to apply for, and fill out the respective form as accurately as possible. 2. Await our reviewOur association will review your membership application as soon as we become available. You will be notified by email when your application has been approved or denied. 3. Follow our provided stepsWith a successful application, our association will provide you with a few tasks you need to complete. Please follow any provided instructions as best as possible. |

Candidate MemberThis is an entry level, regulated membership category for those wishing to pursue the AMAA designation. |
Associate MemberHave demonstrated an interest in the practice of assessment and has been sponsored by an Accredited Member. |
Student MemberMust be engaged full time in post secondary educational studies and cannot be employed full time in the appraisal/assessment industry. |
Retired MemberFormerly accredited member who is no longer active in the practice of assessment but wishes to maintain a membership. |
